We cut this single-breasted blazer in a lightweight plain burgundy cloth with medium stretch. The two-button front fastens cleanly below a standard notch lapel, supported by shoulder padding to preserve the clean chest line. We include a necktie to pair with the jacket.

Notch lapel and front

A standard notch lapel frames the chest, dropping to a two-button single-breasted closure. The front includes working flap pockets and padded shoulders that maintain the structure through regular wear.

Burgundy stretch cloth

We chose a pure polyester cloth in plain burgundy with medium stretch built in. The lightweight weave resists hard creasing and holds its drape without pulling tightly across the shoulders.

Matching necktie included

This single piece comes with a coordinated necktie to complete the front view. The lapel pin and pocket accessories shown in styling photos are not included with the jacket.

Garment care

Send this piece out for regular dry cleaning to protect the chest canvas and inner shoulder structure. Do not tumble dry. Use a warm iron or hand steamer to clear out light folds.

Three lapel cuts across our tailoring

A lapel sets the line of a jacket before anything else is seen. We cut three shapes across our range: the notch with a step, the peak pointing up to the shoulder, and the unbroken shawl collar for evening wear. Here is how each shape functions on a coat.
