We cut this single-breasted blazer from a lightweight plain black cloth woven with medium mechanical stretch. The front fastens with two buttons below a neat notch lapel, supported by structured shoulder pads and chest padding to hold a clean line. A matching necktie accompanies the jacket.

Notch Lapel Front

The two-button stance sits at a standard height beneath classic stepped notch lapels. Flap pockets finish the lower front, balanced by a clean breast pocket.

Lightweight Stretch Cloth

We chose a pure polyester cloth with built-in stretch and natural resistance to creasing. The fabric stays smooth through extended wear and keeps its deep black tone.

Chest and Shoulder Canvas

Padded shoulders and interior chest reinforcement give the front its crisp profile. The structure prevents the lightweight cloth from sagging or collapsing when buttoned.

Dry Clean Care

Send the jacket for professional dry cleaning when it needs freshening. Hang it on a wide wooden hanger between wears and use a warm iron or steam to lift creases.

The three lapel cuts across our tailoring

We cut three distinct lapel lines into our jackets across the catalogue. A notch carries a visible step. A peak angles upward toward the shoulder line. A shawl curves without a break. That front edge changes where a jacket sits, how the front hangs and how the chest reads.
