We cut this blazer in a deep green polyester with built-in stretch and a light hand. The shawl lapel runs in one continuous curve down to a single button closure. It is sold as a standalone jacket for black tie alternatives or evening wear.

Continuous shawl lapel

The collar sweeps into an unbroken shawl lapel that frames the chest without notch breaks. It fastens low at the waist with a single front button, keeping the front clean and uncluttered.

Lightweight stretch cloth

Woven from pure polyester yarn with medium mechanical stretch, this cloth resists creasing during long wear. The lighter weight allows the jacket to drape cleanly across the shoulders without feeling heavy.

Internal structure and finish

Shoulder padding and light chest canvas give the jacket its shape and prevent the front panels from sagging. The interior is fully lined to slide smoothly over dress shirts and knitwear.

Garment care

Send this piece out for dry cleaning to protect the internal canvas and pad construction. Between wears, use a wide wooden hanger and a warm iron or light steam to release surface wrinkles.

Three lapel cuts across our tailoring

A lapel sets the line of a jacket before anything else is seen. We cut three shapes across our range: the notch with a step, the peak pointing up to the shoulder, and the unbroken shawl collar for evening wear. Here is how each shape functions on a coat.
