A continuous shawl lapel defines the front of this lightweight jacket, fastened by a single button at the waist. We cut this piece from a smooth polyester weave with medium stretch for easy movement throughout the day. It ships on its own as an individual dinner jacket.

Rounded shawl lapel

The lapel forms a single smooth curve from the back collar down to the fastening point. It gives the jacket a clean profile free of lapel notches or peaked corners.

Lightweight stretch cloth

We chose a pure polyester cloth woven with medium stretch to keep the jacket light on the shoulders. The fabric resists creasing and holds its sky blue tone through regular wear.

Single button front

One resin button closes the front to keep the fastening clean and low on the waist. Internal chest canvas and structured shoulder padding keep the front panels hanging straight.

Dry cleaning care

Send this jacket to a professional dry cleaner when it needs refreshing. Do not wash it at home in water, and hang it on a wide-shouldered hanger between outings.

The three lapel cuts across our tailoring

We cut three distinct lapel lines into our jackets across the catalogue. A notch carries a visible step. A peak angles upward toward the shoulder line. A shawl curves without a break. That front edge changes where a jacket sits, how the front hangs and how the chest reads.
