We cut this dinner jacket from a light purple cloth woven with sequins and metallic thread for evening wear. The single-button front fastens beneath a smooth shawl lapel, giving the chest a clean, continuous line. Inside, a stretch lining lets the jacket move easily across the shoulders.

Shawl lapel curve
